McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope

“The facility has three telescopes: the Main, the East Auxiliary and the West Auxiliary.  Each are fed by a flat heliostat mirror mounted on the tower (M1), form their images with a concave mirror in the tunnel (M2), and then reflect the beam about 1.5 degrees below the polar axis to flat mirror positioned near the observing room (M3) to feed a selected exit port in the facility.”
